- I think Linda makes some very good points. Employers/
- publishers/professors seldom wish to look beyond a mess
- of poorly crafted work to find that which may or may not
- be worth reading. As a neophyte writer, I used to find this frustrating;
- however, now that I do a fair amount of editing myself, I
- don't even bother to *look* at text that is riddled with common
- careless errors.
