  12. INFORMATION NEEDED RE: KENTUCKY

  14. A friend of mine wants to leave the NY/NJ metropolitan area and get off the
  15. corporate merry-go-round.  She is considering moving to KY -- not too far
  16. from her East coast roots, but far enough south to what she thinks might be
  17. an easier pace of life.

  19. She will need a place to rent, preferably in a small town and probably on
  20. the eastern side of the state near the mountains.  She wants to leave her
  21. office career of 14 years and, in her words, 'do something constructive',
  22. like work as a vet tech or assistant in a vet's office, or help care for
  23. horses in exchange for a place to live.

  25. Any leads?  Towns in which to statrt looking?  Vets who might be looking
  26. for help?  My friend is serious about this, but needs a starting point.
