- QUESTION: What period of time is specified before foreclosure proceedings can be
- initiated by a lender/bank in Norfolk, VA. In California, it is three months and
- then off you go.
-
- Due to physical difficulties, my family let it slip 3 months, at which point I
- paid it up. I do not have it comfortable in my budget for the due date, so I
- am always sliding in right before the end of the "grace period" each month now.
- They are always calling and "threatening" foreclosure on the current month!
- CAN THEY DO THAT? Thank you for any answers.
