  32. the state would then come after them.

  34. If she has assets why should taxpayers foot the bill for her care?
  35. If she did not have assets then by all means I am for supporting her
  36. with public funds. Part of being an open society is caring for those
  37. who do not have the assets to pay for their care. But if she has assets,
  38. then they should be used first.

  40. I suspect selfishness on the part of her heirs who would otherwise 
  41. inherit this property. Why should they be entitled to it at the expense
  42. of taxpayers?
