- If she has assets why should taxpayers foot the bill for her care?
- If she did not have assets then by all means I am for supporting her
- with public funds. Part of being an open society is caring for those
- who do not have the assets to pay for their care. But if she has assets,
- then they should be used first.

- I suspect selfishness on the part of her heirs who would otherwise
- inherit this property. Why should they be entitled to it at the expense
- of taxpayers?
