- What recourse should he have? Declare the election invalid? (-:
- He could write to his congressperson, but a better approach would
- be writing to the election office, explaining the problem. This
- way, his registration can be confirmed so that he doesn't have the
- same problem next time.

- Your friend could have gone down to the elections office and gotten a
- new absentee ballot if he really wanted to vote. Sometimes, resolution
- requires both sides to take some action.
