  21. Ahhh, and what exactly is "child abuse".  What if I took my 3 day-old 
  22. daughter, tied her to a board, and without anesthesia cut off
  23. her ear-lobes (all done under sterile conditions so infection was
  24. unlikely).  Is this child abuse ?  If it isn't, why not ?  If it is,
  25. why isn't circumcision ?
