- There are several that I remember offhand. While in Pittsburgh at my MIL's
- we were all sitting around the table eating when Billy suddenly piped
- up with:
-
- "Uncle Jack, you don't have much hair"
-

-
- Yesterday was my sister's birthday and she was visiting us so we had
- a party for her with hats, noisemakers, etc. Billy had a piece of
- cake and asked for more, so we gave it to him and said that was it.
- When he finished, he looked at us sweetly and said "one more slice please".
- It was so cute, we gave him a little. Just to reinforce the lesson that
- he had just taught *us*, later on it the kitchen, the following conversation
- took place:
-
- Billy: We have to give cake to the hungry child
- Mary & me: Who's the hungry child?
- Billy: Me!

- We took Billy bowling at a "mini-bowling" alley in an arcade. He had
- a wonderful time. My turn was after his and he was standing in front of
- me so I asked him to stand behind me. Next thing I knew, he had his head
- against my rear end and was holding my legs. Mary (who hadn't heard what
- I'd asked him to do) asked him to come over to her. Tears welled up in his
- eyes and he said "I can't, daddy told me to stand behind him". So, I bowled
- with an added appendage :-). Talk about literal!

-
- My sister was telling Mary about something that she didn't want Billy
- to know about (a present) so she spelled it (as we usually do). Billy
- got really indignant and said "Auntie Debbie, *what* are you telling mommy!"
- I think our spelling days are numbered :-)
