  20.   Well, an adult is in enough pain to need fairly strong medication for
  21.   days to weeks (see what Jacob's boys did to even the score for Dina's
  22.   rape!).  In contrast, an 8-day-old baby frequently zonks out
  23.   immediately afterward without particualr encouragement.
