  11. Hi.  I'm about to join the rank of Dads and I need advice
  12. regarding a few purchases.  If this group has a FAQ where
  13. this information can be found please point me to a ftp site
  14. that I can access.

  16. Questions:
  17. (1) I'm looking at strollers.  Perego (and other companies)
  18. offers strollers that become carriages.  Are these hybrid
  19. models practical?  Are the chassis with the larger non-swivel
  20. wheels preferable to those chassis with the smaller double
  21. swivel wheels?  Is a Perego unit worth the extra money?
  22. (2) I'm also looking are car seats.  Are convertible units
  23. (infant + toddler) as good (from the babies perspective) as
  24. having two seperate units?  Are units (either convertible or
  25. infant) with stay-in-car bases preferable?  Are five-point
  26. harnesses better than the Y-shaped one-hand fastening restraint
  27. shield or are the wing-style shields (not the flip-up shields)
