  24. I think eight days is long enough too;  in fact I think one day is
  25. long enough for a cold.  Unfortunately the cold virus doesn't agree
  26. with us.

  28. If she doesn't seem any sicker, and she just seems to have a cold, I'd
  29. wait another week.  Lots of times colds last ten to fourteen days.  If
  30. it makes you feel better, call the doctor and ask to talk to the
  31. nurse.  I call my doctor's office all the time and talk to the nurses.
  32. Usually they know the answer.  Sometimes they refer me to the doctor.
  33. It's a lot easier than schlepping all the way to the office and
  34. hanging around with a cranky two-year-old.
