- If you can afford it, I'd let her keep going. Maybe cut back hours
- some. Brief separations are good for both child and parent, IMHO.
- I wanted to save money after my baby was born (my older child was 5),
- but was locked in with my reimbursement account, so I kept him
- in day care and ended up being glad I did, because teh baby was more
- demanding than I's expected, and this way I could nap when the baby
- napped, and my rambuctious older son didn't waken the baby up.
- Another woman at my current day care pulled her 2-year-old out
- for a several weeks after the new baby was born, and then brought her
- back part-time because the togetherness was a littel too much of
- a good thing. Remeber that the birth of a younger sibling can
- affect the older child's personality.
