- When I was on maternity leave with my second daughter Emily, my first
- Katie, continued to go to in home care for a few hours each morning. I
- reduced the time but didn't keep her home all day. She loved her
- babysitter and enjoyed going over and having other kids to play with. I
- enjoyed having time to just spend with the baby and to sleep. Because I
- was able to nap with Emily, when Katie came home I had more enery to do
- things just with her when Emily took her afternoon nap.
-
- f you have the option to reduce the hours to 1/2 days at the day-care
- center that might give you a chance to get some rest and her a chance to be
- with other kids and play.
-
- Good luck,
-
