- There is one male daycare center worker at the daycare my three boys go to. All the
- children really like him (I like him also). I remember when he first started to work
- there all my boys would come home saying "Mr. Chris did this", "Mr. Chris does that"
- (playing the guitare, etc.).
-
- Mr. Chris is one of the two primary daycare "teachers" for my 5 year old and both
- my husband and I are very pleased with him.
-
- I personally would like to see more men in the daycare field. I think it gives a
- child a more balanced outlook. Unfortunately many daycares don't hire men because
- many think that any man that want to look after children is a pervert and will
- molest their child.
-
- There have been some comments about Mr. Chris working there (i.e. that he shouldn't),
- but the comments generally come from men (actually one). Guess they are worried that
- he might flirt with their wives or they feel guilty about not spending time with
- their children.
