  13. Several weeks ago I posted about a problem we wre having with our
  14. soon to be three year old son.  For some reason, he became very
  15. tearful when we said good night and wanted us to sit with him
  16. until he fell asleep.  He also work up during the night and
  17. wanted to sleep on the floor in our room.  Then a couple of
  18. weeks ago he decided he wanted to sleep on the floor in his
  19. room rather than the bed.  And many a morning we opened our
  20. door to find he had dragged his blanket and pillow and was
  21. asleep outside our door.  We repeatedly asked what we could do
  22. to make his room nicer so he would want to sleep there.  He
  23. never came up with any ideas.  On Christmas Day we had lots
  24. of company for dinner.  George took one of the women upstaird
  25. to show her his room.  They got in a discussion on why he slept
  26. on the floor.  Would you believe he told her he slept on the floor
  27. because he wanted to look out the door and see the pottie.  We
  28. are in very low key potty training.  SHe moved his bed to the middle
  29. of the room.  That night he went to sleep with a smile on his face.
  30. The next day we rearranged his room so the bed in on the wall
  31. facing the door.  So far we have had no sleep problems ( I hope
  32. I am not jinxing myself with this post).

  34. So I quess the moral of this story is that even at the tender
  35. age of 2.10 years they aren't going to tell their parents everything.

  37. On another note, I bought a copy of Love You Forever and went throug
  38. two tissues and was crying so hard I could barely finish it.  When
  39. I finished my son looked at me and said read it again mommy.  My
  40. MIL got teary eyed when she read it.  Even my husband admitted
  41. it was a nice book.
