  24. My mother came to visit for Thanksgiving, and in general conversation
  25. around work, I was talking about how "challenging" it was to have my
  26. mother visiting.  We love each other, but we can sure drive each other
  27. crazy!  Anyway, my office-mate kept saying "I have this book you've
  28. got to read".  You guessed it; it was "Love You Forever".  When those
  29. things inevitably cropped up that would normally set us off on an
  30. argument, I managed to keep it to myself and lighten up.  It turned
  31. out to be a really nice visit (not entirely smooth, but what's a few
  32. bumps among family?)  When she left, I got one for myself and sent one
  33. to my sister, too.  My plan for future visits is to read the book, dry
  34. my eyes, then go have a pleasant talk with my mother :-)
