  31. I don't know what the laws in your state are, but here in Kentucky,
  32. the legal age is 12 (!!!!) years of age.  This caused me quite a
  33. few problems last year when my stepdaughter (10 at the time) was
  34. not allowed to leave daycare by herself to walk home (2 blocks
  35. away).  Since she was not 12 years old, we *had* to pick her up.
