  12. Is there anything similar to the battery operated car that Santa
  13. can/will bring your daughter?  eg. maybe not a ride-in one, but a small
  14. remote control vehicle?  Or even a $1.99 Tonka toy?

  16. It is difficult to explain to a 4-year-old, but perhaps a lesson in
  17. dollar value of certain items would be appropriate - even Santa has a
  18. budget, if you want to keep this myth alive for your child.  You could
  19. show your child the equivalent of an armful of teddy bears or a stack of
  20. other toys or games which cost the same amount as the toy she really
  21. wants.

  23. I really sympathize with you here.  I have often given my 5 and 9 year
  24. old boys something they REALLY REALLY wanted, knowing that pretty much
  25. the only pleasure they will get out of it is opening it, and that it
  26. will be relegated to the back of the closet thereafter.  It never cost
  27. $200+ though!
