- Cory is 3.5, his younger brother Nicky is 1.5. Cory has been in day
- care (2 or 3 days a week) for a little over a year now. Like some good
- friends of ours who have a daughter in day care, Cory seems to get a
- cold once or twice a month because there is ALWAYS at least one sick
- child in daycare, so Cory keeps getting introduced to new strains of
- a cold virus, and brings it home for the rest of us. During holiday
- breaks, and especially last summer (3 months), Cory did NOT get sick,
- mainly because he just didn't come into contact that much with other
- kids. So, in answer to your question, IMHO, your son will continue to
- come in contact with different strains of different viruses as long as he
- attends daycare and meets other children.
