- Robert Munsch! It is a fabulous book, I kept it by my bedside and read it
- dozens of times before I attempted to read it to Jeffrey, so I wouldnt fall
- apart while reading it to him. One day he had a very poopy diaper, and he
- brought me a book, I told him I would read it to him after I changed him.
- (he was prone to getting rashes if his poopy sat against his skin too long)
- He was making such a fuss about getting his diaper changed, and kept waving
- the book around. It accidently hit me in the head with it, and I got mad,
- grabbed the book, and threw it on the floor. Then I yelled, I will read it to
- you when I am done!! He was about 20 months old at the time, and he was at an
- easy stage, so I almost never yelled. I felt so bad that I did yell that time.
- Anyway, after the diaper change I did read the book as promised. It was
- "Love You Forever'. I started crying half way thru, and continued crying for
- about a half hour.
-
- Any, yes tear jerker movies affect me more, and so do newspaper articles that
- deal with bad things happening to children. I even find myself fighting tears
- when I see a child hurt him/herself at the park.
