  13. My favorite chairs for baby-nursing are my gliders and matching
  14. footstools.  We got the first one just before Ben was born, and put it
  15. in his room, for convenience when he woke in the night.  Now that he's
  16. 3.5, there's no way he's going to give up "his" chair to the livingroom.
  17. Besides, where would we sit when reading books at bedtime.

  19. The second chair was purchased just before Andy was born.  He's completely
  20. weaned now, too, but we rock and snuggle every night and every morning,
  21. accompanied by stories and songs.  He frequently picks out a book by
  22. himself and climbs into the chair to "read" (too cute for words!).

  24. *Sigh* I guess I'll have to buy another chair if I really want one of my
  25. own.  The first two were Christmas presents from my husband to me --
  26. guess that didn't work out quite like I planned!  The chairs are
  27. incredibly comfortable, and match nearly all the "ideal chair"
  28. characteristics that my back therapist recommended for my sciatic nerve
  29. trouble.
