- This didn't work the first time I tried it, so we'll give it another

- My twins were born at 31+ weeks and did not smile til they were 4-5
- months old. We found it much less frustrating to consider they were
- actually only 2-3 months old gestationally.
-
- It's hard not to worry when babies aren't up to "normal" progression,
- but it may help to not compare your baby to others. Your baby WILL
- smile, sit up, crawl, etc., all in her own good time. All babies are
- different. Do consider the gestational age of your baby if it will help
- you worry less.
-
- Our twins are now 16 months old. They walked a little later than the
- tables suggest, but now they walk fabulously all the time. I remember
- being a little concerned that they weren't walking as early as some of
- our friends' babies, but now I think I was silly to worry when I watch
- them run and dance!
-
- Unless it's an extreme case, your baby won't be 7 years old and not
- smiling yet!
