  13. I first posted this to a real estate group, but I haven't gotten an answer. 
  14. Most of the people in this group appear to know alot about investments, so
  15. here are my questions:  What are the stipulations for putting IRA money in an
  16. investment property?  I live in a college town with very attractive housing
  17. prices.  I recently bought a condo for myself and have decided to buy another
  18. as a rental property.  I would like to do this with as little out of pocket
  19. expense as possible.  I am told by my real estate agent that I will have to put
  20. 30% down to do the deal, and I am trying to avoid this.  If I could roll part
  21. of my IRA over into this property, the 30% wouldn't be a problem, but I don't
  22. know whether or not I can do it.  I believe you can have an IRA in real estate,
  23. but I don't know the details of this.  Also, are there any creative ways around
  24. this 30% down problem?  Any advice would be appreciated.  Also, I know that
  25. this wasn't the most appropriate group to post to, but I thought it was my best
  26. chance to get a pretty fast answer.
