- The company they trashed this week was Nature╒s Bounty, a producer of
- vitamins. Basically, they pointed out that recent increases in earnings
- were due to acquisitions rather than increased profitability, that the
- company was having trouble with government regulators, and that vitamins
- have no patent protection whatsoever, giving the company no advantage in a
- very competitive industry. Also, lots of insider selling.
