  14. I have a fourteen month old MURATE M-1800 plus FAX MACHINE for SALE.

  16. This was their top of the line fax machine full of features that are
  17. not found in todays cheaper machines (including Murata's own).

  19. This unit was listed for $1300 for the regular model. I have the 
  20. plus model which included some options. I do not know the list price
  21. of my unit. The only thing my fax machine lacks is a paper cutter.

  23. Here are some of the many features:
  24. 1. Group 3 and Group 2 compatible.
  25. 2. 9600 bps with automatic fall down to 7200, 4800, 2400 per CCITT V.29 and V.27 ter.
  26. 3. 16 pages Document memory (i.e. if the fax machine runs out of paper during a
  27. incoming fax, the machine can store sixteen pages in its memory and then print
  28. it out when you put in a fresh roll of fax paper)
  29. 4. Resolution : Superfine, Fine, Normal.
  30. 5. 16-level Grayscale.
  31. 6. DAtabase Polling, Sequential Polling, etc.
  32. 7. Automatic fax/phone switching capability (i.e. when there is an incoming 
  33. call fax machine will automatically respond to a incoming FAX)
  34. 8. Set auto receive time (set time of day when you want the machine to
  35. respond to all calls as FAX calls)
  36. 9. Passcode protection. 
  37. 10. SecureMail Boxes.
  38. 11. 85 speed dial number. (can also be put in a group for faxing to a 
  39. group of fax machines).
  40. 12. One touch fax transmission keys.
  41. 13. LCD display which displays status under every imaginable situations.
  42. 14. Includes a phone, monitor status, and electronic hold.
  43. 15. Fax reception and transmission quality.

  45. This fax machine has features that were removed from subsequent models
  46. to cuts costs and price.

  48. I have been very happy with this machine and it has never given me
  49. any problems during the fourteen months I have owned it. I bought
  50. it from J & R Music World in New York for $900 (including tax and ship).
