  12.    What would it take to snatch away a sizeable fraction of the market on
  13. compilers or operating systems (say, PC-compatible C compilers) from the big
  14. guys, working from scratch with nothing but a software development system but
  15. unlimited access to innovative talent?

  17.    Seems to me one possible answer is to write a compiler for a better, upwardly
  18. compatible, more useful, language and market the language with the compiler.
  19. There's plenty of room there, it appears.
