- Although my department does not use headsets, as a pilot I do. Believe
- it or not, the price for "aviation" headsets and intercoms might be
- lower than the identical "emergency" headsets and intercoms. I own a
- pair of David Clark H10-60 headsets and have nothing but positive
- results. You should be able to have a local radio shop adapt an
- aviation intercom to plug into your radios. Prices for "aviation"
- David
- Clark headsets start around $170 and you can purchase a 6 place
- Sigtronics intercom for about $200. You might want to pick up a
- catalog
- from Sporty's pilot shop phone 1-800-543-8633. BTW I also have a
- Sigtronics brand intercom which I have never had a problem with and
- when
- I have the chance I plan on making an interface for my EMS radio.
- Good Luck!
