  10. I would be interested in obtaining some info on the goggles that are
  11. most notably used by firefighters in the western part of the country,
  12. particularly California.  I am looking for some effective eye
  13. protection in lieu of the visor that is standard on helmets today.  I
  14. currently have Bourke eye shields on my helmet, but as a practical
  15. matter they really dont offer much in the way of really protecting your
  16. eyes when you need it most.  Do the goggles I am referring to meet some
  17. sort of OSHA or NFPA specs?  Are they designed for this line of work or
  18. are they something that can be picked up at a good hardware store.  If
  19. this sort of eye protection is a specialty item, where can it be
  20. obtained and what is the approximate cost?  I havent been able to come
  21. up with anything in this part of the country so any help would be
  22. appreciated.
