  13. I have been out of EMS for a little over a year.  I am in the process of
  14. joining a volunteer rescue squad, and need to order some personal equipment.
  15. Does anybody have a toll free number for Galls or a similar company.  I would
  16. like to order some catalogs.

  18. Also, the squad which I was in before covered an area which was mostly small
  19. towns/subrural.  For running POV calls in such an environment, a single roof/
  20. dash light and wig-wag headlights were sufficient for clearing traffic most
  21. of the time.  (I also added a small set of air horns from Western Auto, which
  22. helped a lot).

  24. The squad which I am joining runs in an urban area, and I am doubtful that
  25. the current warning equipment on my car will be sufficient.  Comments and
  26. suggestions would be appreciated.  I am thinking about adding a red and white
  27. Dashlaser (or similiar system) to my dash, and getting a tail/backup light
  28. flasher for rear coverage.  (Does anyone have experience with such a flasher?
  29. I don't know anyone who has one, and I have only seen one in use once - on a
  30. Va. state trooper cruiser).
