  11. I spoke with someone from the FCC, they state that "It is illegal to listen in
  12. on private telephone conversations without the persons involved knowing about
  13. the person listening, unless a court order is issued for a legal wire-tap.
  14. A person can scan any "open, public access frequency"."

  16. Some pager frequencies are "open" but not all of them are.... Such as most of
  17. your federal police agencies.  Most agencies that do not want pesons to listen
  18. in on their conversations have gone to the expense of putting descramblers on
  19. their systems.
