- We've been using them in both of our engines for several months now.

- On the one hand, it is much easier to communicate in the engine while
- responding code-3, it allows both hands to be free to look in the map
- book,
- etc.

- On the bad side, there are more moving parts and we have had some

- with the headset not trasmitting, it also reduces the "audio feel" of
- the
- engine, it (of course) reduces all outside noise even traffic sounds.

- All in all, I like them. It is much easier to talk among the crew.
