  13. As a citizen of this country, I am extremely interested in
  14. what is happening in the public schools and private
  15. universities around the country.  My interest has recently
  16. peeked, and I just read two extremely informative books that
  17. I would like to get opinions on.  They are:
  18.  
  19. 1) "Why Johnny Can't Tell Right from Wrong--moral illiteracy
  20.     and the case for character education,"  William Kilpatrick,
  21.     Vintage Books, 1992
  22.  
  23. 2) "Illiberal Education--the politics of race and sex on
  24.     campus,"  Dinesh D'Souza, Simon & Schuster, 1992
  25.
