  18. I am interested in helping with the education of all people on what
  19. I term "positive sex."  That is, enjoyable, fun sex that is safe from
  20. problems of possible pregnancy and/or possible disease transmission.

  22. I looked for newsgroups with such patterns as advocacy, support, child,
  23. sex and education.  Only two groups seemed even remotely related.  Perhaps
  24. I should include groups with a medical focus as well?

  26. Anyway, if there is anyone who has ideas on how to go about bringing this
  27. possibly controversial information to the public, and how to do so 
  28. without stepping on too many toes or getting into legal hot water, please
  29. drop me a line.

  31. As an afterthought, what has prompted this is what appears to be a great
  32. rise in adolescent AIDS and the usual problem of adolescent pregnancy.
  33. I'd like to have people know about all the wonderful options for enjoying
  34. sex that are not 'immediately' thought of when that word is mentioned.
  35. All the things that feel good that do not include (necessarily) penetration
  36. or exchange of bodily fluids.
