  11. We have enjoyed the Scandia 900 woodstove in our house this fall and winter. 
  12. It was there when we bought it this summer and have been experimenting with it. 
  13. It does a pretty good job heating the main rooms.  Certainly it is fun to fuss
  14. with through the evening.

  16. My uncle has nut coal that he no longer needs.  he says I can use it in the
  17. woods stove as he did for years at the old homestead (his stove was a kitchen
  18. variety 1903 Crawford).  Does anyone else burn coal in a Scandia?  Any advice
  19. pro or con about burning coal and wood together?  We generally start off with a
  20. wood fire and add a little coal.  Seems to burn away through the evening.
