  12. My electrician, my wife, and I walked around the house indicating where
  13. we wanted light switches, light fixtures, outlets, telephone, and TV hookups.
  14. Then he started working out circuits and where they would be on the power
  15. panel.  He mentioned that he had to "balance" the panel.

  17. What does "balancing" a power panel mean?  Why is it necessary?  How
  18. is it typically accomplished?  Yes, I know I can ask my electrician,
  19. but the Net often has many gems of wisdom which I would not get from
  20. a non-talkative tradesman.  Thx.
