- Has anyone seen this stuff before? I have a house built in 1957, to which
- I wish to make wiring alterations/additions. It's wired with 12/2 (no ground
- wire) that has what appears to be a full braided metal shield around it, which
- is connected to ground! I've never encountered house wiring like this; neither
- had the electrician who inspected the place when I bought it.
