  10. Due to our large menagarie (Two dogs, four cats, and four ferrets) 
  11. and due to the inevitable mistakes,  my wife and I are considering
  12. pulling up our needs-to-be-replaced carpeting and replacing it
  13. with something more pet-resistant.

  15. Ideally we would like to put down ceramic tile.  However the cost
  16. is prohibitive at this time, but we would like to leave that
  17. possibility open for a later date.

  19. My thoughts were to level out any rough spots in the concrete slab
  20. and paint the floor with a durable epoxy paint decorated with
  21. designs and washable throw rugs.

  23. Has anybody tried this and can anyone give recommendations on brands
  24. of epoxy paint? Pros, cons, etc.
  25.  
  26. Also any pitfalls to later installing ceramic tile over the paint.
  27. Will it have to be removed (Can it be removed?)

  29. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated.
