- too bad you weren't around two years ago when we moved to this house.
- we threw one of those emchanicals out because it made so damn much
- noise in the living room and near the bedroom that my wife couldn't
- sleep. you would have been welcome to it.

- there is a reason for the digitals: they just work better and are
- quiet. we replaced with a non-setback thermostate for the simple
- reason that it doesn't take too many brains and too much thought to
- move the thermostat up and down according to one's needs. like up in
- the morning and down at night. we had trouble finding the classic
- honneywell round thermostat at that time.
