  15. Just wanted to share some good house building experiences
  16. with you all.

  18. We are having a house built in Broomfield, CO, just North
  19. of Denver.  The house is being built in a tract by Park
  20. Homes.  Park has several developments throughout the
  21. Denver area.  Our sales rep, Greg Hartman, and his
  22. assistant, Jennifer, have been fantastic.  Greg is easy to
  23. work with, very detail oriented, and follows through on
  24. his work.  We had several modifications that we made to
  25. the standard house, including mods that would be
  26. considered custom.  Greg represented us to the Park
  27. central office and to the builder and managed to get us
  28. all the mods we had requested at an affordable cost and in
  29. a timely fashion.  After hearing the horror stories from
  30. others in a similar situation, I feel very fortunate we
  31. have Greg to work with.  For those considering a new house
  32. purchase in the Broomfield area, you may want to check out

  35. We took advantage of Paragon Plumbing mail order to
  36. procure our Moen faucets which are to replace the standard
  37. faucets in our home.  Russell Brooks at Paragon has been a
  38. joy to work with as well.  He goes out of his way to make
  39. sure that orders are processed promptly and accurately.
  40. He even checks the hardware before he ships to ensure
  41. everything is in good order.  The prices are 20-40% less
  42. than suppliers in our area.  The telephone number is

  45. In the Denver area we have had the pleasure of working
  46. with two exceptional suppliers.

  48. We have ordered several kitchen appliances from Arrowhead
  49. Appliance (303-759-1109).  Janet Alberg has coordinated
  50. our $1500 order which easily saved us $300 over discount
  51. outlets in our area.  She can get anything and gave us
  52. 'jobber' prices on our three appliances.  Delivery can be
  53. scheduled for any day at a cost of $25 per delivery.  I
  54. highly recommend her as a source to consider for folks
  55. looking for appliances in our area.

  57. Our stereo wiring is being done by Stereo Image in
  58. Boulder, CO (303-442-2166).  Allen Nibbe is our contact
  59. point and he worked with us extensively to provide custom
  60. wiring within our budget.  His patience and willingness to
  61. work with the customer have made the custom wiring job a
  62. pleasure.  Considering our builder had all kinds of
  63. requirements to let another contractor come on the job
  64. site, it is amazing that Allen would have considered doing
  65. the job at all.  Yet throughout the process, Allen has
  66. demonstrated a 'no problem' attitude that has allowed us
  67. to have the home theater that we always wanted.

  69. The plans for our house are put to rest.  All the t's have
  70. been crossed and i's dotted and all that remains is to keep
  71. an eye on the work in progress to ensure everything is done
  72. in accordance with our agreement with Park and Stereo
  73. Image.  While our house will not be complete until March of
  74. next year, I am confident that the character of those we
  75. are working with will minimize or eliminate future
  76. problems.
