- My nieghbor has something similar on their house and he claims the glass
- coating prevents plants from growwing well. Theirs has a heavy blue tint
- to the glass. I don't know if it blocks too much visable light out but
- I think it was designed to block UV. It could be he has a brown thumb.

- We have a small version on our house it is just a room with south faceing
- windows. Works well when the sun is out,but when the sun doesn't shine
- the large glass area is definitely a heat loss. It's nice for plant though.
- I wonder if it would help much if you spring for the low E coated glass
- I didn't. Does any one know about aftermarket low E films?
