- I bank at Chase Bank of MD. They don't have many branches and fewer
- ATM machines. Their policy is free checking and free ATMs if you have
- direct deposit or a certain minimum balance. (I have direct deposit.)
- When I got the account I was told that "out-of-area" ATM transactions
- would cost $1. However, they have since changed that policy and I can
- use any ATM anywhere without incurring a charge (I've only tried in
- MD, VA, DC, and CA.)
