  23. They spent years bombarding us with propaganda to convince us to use
  24. them instead of human tellers. Now that we are hooked, they jack up the
  25. fees. (Does this remind you of the tobacco companies?)

  27. Of course, their explanation is that the ATM network charges them fees.
  28. I always ask them who, other than the banks, owns & controls these
  29. networks. I've yet to get a valid reply.... ;-{

  31. The Washington Post printed a list of local S&L's and banks with low/no
  32. fee ATM cards. I keep a small cash account at the one at the top of the
  33. list.
