- Same here. However, at least in Utah, the latest trend seems to be *against*
- free interchangeability. Last June, a Utah bank with a lot of ATMs started
- charging $1 to use the ATM if the user does not have an account with that bank,
- and another bank with a lot of ATMs will start doing the same January 1. This
- IMO unfair practice means I can no longer head down to the store without any
- money, planning to take out $ in the store, unless I want to pay an extra
- dollar for the privilege.
-
- Is this same unfortunate trend happening elsewhere?
