- I believe I got the same offer. Be careful, if I remember right they don't
- give a mile per dollar like the other "airline mileage cards" do. They are
- a different kind of mile (ie. miles of free travel rather than accumulated
- miles towards a mileage level), but with some analysis it appeared to be
- not as good as "regular airline mileage cards" still. In fact some more
- analysis showed that you would be better using a "cash back" credit card
- and buying your own ticket over the "Air Miles" card.
-
- I believe I am remembering the name right...Isn't that the program which also
- includes mileage for purchasing products from specific companies as well?
- If this is not the same program and doesn't have the drawbacks I mentioned
- I would be interested in hearing some more details of the program as my Mom
- is desparately trying to finish off enough Northwest Airline miles to get
- a trip to Hawaii (yea! :-)).
