  12. One more hint on bargaining with the LD carrier: MCI and Sprint
  13. (maybe AT&T too, but I didn't ask them) *like* when your LD
  14. charges get billed to your credit card instead of plain phone bill.
  15. (Sure they have a credit card issuer to help them twisting your
  16. arms if you default). You can get an additional discount (5-10%, or
  17. up to $4-5 worth free LD calls each month) if you sign up for
  18. credit card billing. In addition, you have on extra month to pay
  19. your bills.
