  25.     The Women's Peace Delegation to Israel and Palestine, 
  26. sponsored by the Middle East Children's Alliance, consisting of 
  27. women from the United States and Great Britain, today issues 
  28. the following statement.
  29.     "We are outraged by the illegal deportation of over 400 
  30. Palestinians from their rightful homeland and demand the 
  31. Israeli Government's immediate compliance with U.N. 
  32. Resolution 799.  We further demand that the U.N. and our 
  33. governments enforce the U.N. Resolution.
  34.     "We have witnessed the inhumane conditions in refuge 
  35. camps, the effects of military actions on unarmed children, the 
  36. institutionalized denial of basic human rights, and the 
  37. "administrative detention" of teenagers.  We have seen the 
  38. sealed homes and the confiscated lands and have witnessed 
  39. the systematic discrimination of the Palestinian people.
  40.     "As women we are appalled by the recent action of the 
  41. Israeli Government and we call upon women from around the 
  42. world to protest this injustice."
