- >be switching to a country format. UGH. Just what we need.
-
- I would guess that this is bunk, because they are now playing about a six
- hour loop of all comedy tape. I *love* it. They just played "Wet Dream"
- and "Massochism Tango", two of my favorites. Hell, they even played
- "I bet you they won't play this song on the radio"! I know it's a promo,
- but they've got me hooked, continuous music for three days with NO
- commercials!
-
- One other reason that I think they're not going country is that one of their
- station identifications says, "We believe that we are complying with FCC
- regulations, but some of the material you've been listening to may be
- offensive to senior citizens. If you are a senior citizen, please tune to W4
- country, which plays old time western music."
-
- Another one says "...some of our programming may be offensive to children
- If you are a child, please tune to WLLZ, WRIF, or WHYT, these stations play
- music that appeals to children." (RIF-disclaimer: I do listen to that one)
-
- >isn't cool anymore
-
- Oh come on, wasn't the Fox a typical Madonna/Vanilla Ice pablum station?
-
- I agree with the guy that said he admires whoever had the guts to do it.
- They've gone on to playing Julie Brown, followed by Abbott & Costello.
- Ecstacy!!!
