  11. I was killing some time before a movie at the new Sunset 5 theatres
  12. yesterday when I stopped in the new "Megastore" operated by Virgin (of
  13. Virgin Atlantic, Virgin records, et. al. fame) in the same complex, at
  14. Crescent Heights and Sunset.

  16. I found 3 jazz CD's that I never knew existed by artists I've been
  17. following for a few years.  The selection of obscure CD's in this
  18. store appears to be excellent.  A huge jazz section, a good large folk
  19. section, and a big international section.  All the CD's are displayed
  20. without the wasteful cardboard packaging, which is recycled (? I don't
  21. know whether to believe them on this)...I have heard that all the
  22. record companies are going to stop with the cardboard on CD packages
  23. by next spring.

  25. The other good news was the price:  each of the three CD's I bought
  26. were priced $11.99, where I might have spent $13.99 at Tower, if Tower
  27. had even stocked them.
