- JM> Animals with human characterisitcs. JM> These are very common

- Thank you Jim for the titles. I have had problems with my communication
- software and could not reply until now. Maybe you are on holiday and
- won't see this message until the New Year. I am looking for the unusual
- titles. Ian has read the ones you suggested. Recently he has read a
- few by King-Smith and yesterday a little paperback, "Bethoven's Cat". I
- also found "Hare's Choice" that he has yet to read. He has read Ursula
- LeGuin's "catwing" books, the Brian Jacques books, "Redwall", etc. If
- you have anyother thoughts, appreciate any and all titles related to
- this area of interest. I did post my question on *Prodigy earlier this
- month and got a lot of science fiction books -- am not sure if they are
- really appropriate for a nine year old. I'm sure he could read them,
- but that is not the challenge. Thanks again. Linda
