  11. If you buy the printer and a number of PC's you may wish to buy a serial 
  12. electronic switch you all can share the laser printer.  If you do so I 
  13. strongly suggest an electronic switch that plugs into the I/O port on the 
  14. printer.  The switch should accept rj telephone jack type wire and 
  15. connecters.  The PC end can also be RJ but you will need an RJ to DB 
  16. converter to connect to your serial port on the computers.  These switches 
  17. come in 4,6,8 12 port varities.  Only buy one that does not come with 
  18. software ie....should be plug and play, as simple as possible.  I had a 
  19. sharespoole 4 port and it worked great.  I aslo bought standard 50 foot 
  20. cables with the switch beacuse there were less expensive than I could buy 
  21. them local....they were rj on one end and db25 on the other so that no litle 
  22. converter was necessary.  Good luck with you pkg.  Have you considered an 
  23. overhead display device.  It would allow you to display to the class what 
  24. appears on the screen of your computer.  You can get display devices that 
  25. combine and overhead with the display disvice so that a seperate overhead 
  26. display is not necessary.
