  35.      this Universe by counting the begats in Scripture, then one is
  36.      using Scripture for not what it was intended. The Bible is NOT a
  37.      science textbook! It is however, God's additional revelation of
  38.      Himself to Mankind. (He firstly reveals Himself through His
  39.      creation.) Pun intended<g>

  50.      Again, Scripture does not speak to this allegation. Scriptue does
  51.      say that "the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground." What
  52.      it does not say is how God changed the "dust" into man. Was it
  53.      immediate? Was it instantaneous? Were there intermediate
  54.      stages? I contend that Scripture does not teach this! Scripture
  55.      DOES teach that God created man, but the process is not described.

  57.      It seems to me, that for the Evolutionist to examine the fossil
  58.      record and then "jump" to the conclusion that this all started (The
  59.      Big Bang) as an accident, almost requires as much faith as faith
  60.      in God! I say almost, for the indwelling faith in God, as taught in
  61.      Scripture, takes the almighty power of The Holy Spirit.

  63.      How then can I ever hope to convince an unbeliever to have faith in
  64.      God through scientific evidence? Never! I do not have that power.
  65.      But, I do have the power of love (in Greek it's AGAPE) that
  66.      permits me to reveal God's love to the unbeliver that leads to
  67.      saving faith. "Just let me tell you of my Jesus." That is all I
  68.      ask. <BG>

  87.      that point. I say that Man is blind and cannot come (believe or
  88.      know) to God. Is that insulting, false, and not scientific? If you
  89.      say "yea", then I'm sorry but that is not my intent.
